classes and workshops

Want to learn how to arrange flowers from your garden? Or maybe create a succulent garden? Or just want to have a fun night out with girlfriends? Field & Vase offers a selection of classes that teach design techniques using local flowers and plants.

Classes are for all experience levels unless otherwise noted. All floral materials, supplies and a container are included with every class and participants take home their finished arrangements.

Classes are taught in a variety of locations and by Barbara Rietscha unless otherwise noted. We also offer private classes so contact us if interested in booking one. Check back often as we continually add classes.

Field & Vase is excited to partner with The Phineas Wright House to present a series of Floral Design Workshops in the Barn. Located in Bolton, the historic barn is a beautiful setting to learn to create floral arrangements using locally grown flowers and plants. After class, enjoy each other's company as you are treated to a farm-to-table meal prepared by Wendy Harrop, owner of The Phineas Wright House. The table is resplendent with all the student's creations!
